It is crazy how fast time flies. Our little Brookie is 1 month old and gets bigger and bigger everyday. She has been our little sweetheart. She has really let me get my sleep at night and loves to check us all out when she is awake. She cracks these little smiles every now and then that melt my heart. We all cant get enough of her... Even Caden.
He has been pretty funny to watch interact with her. He gets right up to her face and talks to her. He shares his food with her by trying to stuff it in her mouth. When she cries he says, "Brooke" and goes and finds her. He likes to give her hugs and kisses and play with her hands and feet.
Then theirs the football and mom's water bottle she has received directly to the face and the eye and nose poking she gets every now and then. Not to mention when she is dead asleep he runs up to her and yells something right in her ear. But I am hoping she forgives and forgets all of that and they are best buddies, so far so good!
Now on to this little rascal... He is my little buddy and he is all boy. He still has to have a ball at all times, they come with us every where. There are always flying balls at our house hence the direct shot to Brookes face. I can't get enough of this little boy though and really am loving this stage he is in. He makes me laugh and he helps me out a lot!
We've had a really good summer so far. We've been out and about from swimming to all the farms to camp fires and lazy days at Grandmas with a Popsicle... lots and lots of popsicles I should say. I usually get a Popsicle request once a day :)
I don't want summer to end and my kids to keep growing up...
